In this second part we will focus on murals in the Arts District. For first-time visitors, a simple plan works best: arrive in the late afternoon, explore a few galleries, walk around to discover street art, and then enjoy dinner or drinks in the neighborhood. Comfortable shoes are recommended because most of the best discoveries happen while wandering through the streets. Keeping an open mind also helps, since the art ranges from traditional paintings to experimental and unconventional pieces. It's tough to name everything, so we will give you a list with few good spots:

  • Greatings from Las Vegas on Colorado and Main right across the street from Palate / the Colorado. Beautiful, very clean mural with the tag line after what it's named. Done by @greetingstour, an artist based in Pasedena.
  • Sweet Saturday, Punks! On 1412 Main Street on the Building of Dark Sister. A black and white mural of a Elvis wishing you a pleasant Saturday.
  • Mad Gallery courtyard. On 1310 Main Street in front of Mad Gallery. The whole place is a vibe and really artsy.
  • The Distrikt at Wyoming on that little nameless Alley. Just recently added by some local artists, slightly hidden off the beaten path.

While setting up this list we found it tougher to name buildings and places where you won't find murals. That's why we only mentioned a few murals here. It is now up to you to discover the Arts District.

In our next part we will focus on the most important part: the artists in the Arts District Las Vegas. We don't use pictures currently, to not get any copyright issues. We are giving our best to give you a good insight. If you find something wrong please contact us.

Most of our articles are A.I. curated. Means: we let ChatGPT run through it and check spelling mistakes and grammar, sometimes we go through ideas with ChatGPT and let it word parts of an article to see if it is close. Obviously, we let ChatGPT do some pics here and there. Most of the articles are handwritten before letting ChatGPT do the finishes.
